Our founder, D’Vour Thurston has over 20 years of criminal and civil investigative experience in both law enforcement and the corporate sector.
 

D’Vour is a retired California Police Officer and has also held an investigative position working for the federal government.  He has handled cases involving insurance fraud, vehicular homicides, embezzlement, major theft, workers’ compensation fraud and federal law enforcement background investigations.  He has also held several high-level security clearances.
 

D’Vour has conducted investigations at both the local and federal levels and has completed advanced training in forensic interviewing and investigation.   He has extensive experience testifying in the California Superior Court system.
 

He completed his polygraph training at Marston Polygraph Academy, an American Polygraph Association (APA) approved polygraph school.  Mr. Thurston has completed additional polygraph training to examine high risk supervised sex offenders upon their release from custody.  
 

D’Vour holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cal State Hayward University in Criminal Justice Administration.  He also holds an Advanced California Police Officer Training Certificate (P.O.S.T.) and is a credentialed investigator the with the federal government.
